By far the best cup of coffee in town. Also my favorite coffee shop to sit and study or get other work done. Service is hit or miss. Half the time they seem reluctant to take my order and, just the other day, the baristas were openly ridiculing certain religious groups. Granted I’m atheist so I didn’t take it personally and the shop was mostly empty, but I don’t think, even in a liberal space like this one, that kind of behavior is ever appropriate in a service capacity.
The coffee is... what’s another word for “life bearing elixir?” Smooth, yet bold. Assertive, yet delicate. A beautiful roast... unsure of the beans origin or roast but wow. Had one of the better Americanos in recent memory.
Lovely location, hidden down a slip alley just a block off Broadway. Quiet, yet busy enough to know this is a place worth returning.

I’ve been here a few times, and the experience has always been wonderful. The coffee is delicious, the staff is usually super friendly, and it’s a cozy atmosphere.
Today, however, I was greeted by a staff member at the register that wasn’t very friendly. I felt like I was a bit of an inconvenience coming in to get my coffee today, so that made me a bit sad. The coffee was still super yummy though!
Best beans in Columbia. Very knowledgeable baristas. Comfortable seating areas.
Okay. A quick note. If you come here thinking you’re ordering a pour over well, you’re not exactly. I was told the pour overs are kind of made in bulk somehow and then poured into a dispenser. And check out the grounds in the cup.
But. And a big but. The coffee was pretty damn good. And there was blue sky and sunshine in early March. Hence 5 stars.
